PIANO TUNING

Piano Tuning

For most notes on a piano the hammer strikes two or three strings tuned to the same pitch. If one of those strings is off, there will be a wavering or twangy sound. The note should sound clear.

Piano tuning is carried out by a combination of aural tuning and Cyber tuning. Aural is taught through practice and repetition to know what to be listening for. Cyber Tuning is an enhanced Computer that reads the pitch. This hybrid approached gives far more accuracy.
